Porcelain is virtually maintenance-free, stain-proof, and extremely durable — but more expensive. Natural slate provides a dramatic, contemporary look. We bring physical samples to your home so you can see how each material looks in your garden's light.
Material choice is key. Porcelain and riven sandstone have naturally good grip when wet. Smooth slate can be more slippery. We can apply anti-slip treatments to any surface, and we always ensure proper drainage falls so water does not pool on the surface.
