Council Estate Pathway Renewal - Ringwood

Resurfacing of 2km of public footpaths across a council housing estate.

Project Overview

The local council commissioned White & Sons to resurface deteriorated footpaths across a major housing estate in Ringwood. The project involved planing off the existing surface, repairing the sub-base where required, and laying new SMA wearing course to adoptable highway standards. We installed new precast concrete kerbing, tactile paving at crossings, and bollards at vehicle exclusion points. The 12-week programme was completed on schedule with positive feedback from residents regarding our considerate working practices.
