Bespoke Patios Services in Ashurst
Ashurst is on the eastern side of the New Forest, where garden boundaries, trees and rural-style entrances can be as important as the paving itself. White & Sons offers driveway and patio surveys in Ashurst and Colbury from St Leonards. We assess access, existing surfaces and the setting of the property before recommending materials and construction.
Transform your garden into an outdoor living space. We design and install luxurious patios using premium materials including Indian sandstone, natural slate, and ultra-modern porcelain tiles. Our team works with you to choose the perfect material, colour, and layout. Whether it's a sprawling entertaining terrace or an intimate courtyard, we ensure proper drainage falls, frost-resistant materials, and a flawless finish. We also offer integrated steps, raised planters, and low-voltage LED lighting to complete your outdoor transformation.
Bespoke Patios in Ashurst — Local Detail
Ashurst patios need careful consideration of shade, garden access and changes in level. We can discuss paving finishes alongside steps and drainage so the terrace works throughout the year.
Planning & Drainage in Ashurst
New Forest ground conditions and tree cover vary from plot to plot. A survey should check surface-water disposal, roots and any protected features rather than assume standard excavation or soakaway details. Planning constraints depend on the property's position relative to the National Park boundary.

Bespoke Patios in Ashurst — Common Questions
Can National Park rules affect work in Ashurst?
Yes. Check the address and proposal with the relevant planning authority, especially where trees, boundaries or access would change. National Park status is not a substitute for a property-specific check.
Do you cover Colbury?
Yes. Colbury enquiries can be considered alongside Ashurst visits. Include the postcode, current surface and intended use in your request.
Can a driveway survey include tree-root concerns?
Yes. Tell us about mature or protected trees before the visit. Root protection may constrain excavation and can require specialist advice.
